AJ's first day of kindergarten
AJ started kindergarten at Larson Heights Elementary School today. He was so excited! He woke up at 6 o'clock this morning and ran around asking if it was FINALLY time to get his backpack on. School didn't start until 8:45, so he had a while to wait. He said he had a great day and made some new friends. I think he'll do just fine.

Andrea tagged me...
20 years ago: I guess I was seven. I can't say for sure, but I think that if I was at home, I was probably either helping my mom can green beans or some type of fruit. And if I weasled my way out of that, I bet I was playing with Barbies.
10 years ago: Hmm..that would have been the summer after my Junior year of high school. I was REALLY busy that summer. I went to band camp (ha ha, laugh it up) at BYU, Freedom Academy (an awesome, super-fun leadership training camp) at Camp Williams, river rafting and such with a huge 4-H group on the Green River by Flaming Gorge, 4-H State Contests in Logan, in addition to hosting sewing camp for kids at the high school, etc. Now that I think about it, that was probably one of my favorite summers ever. I had so much fun, and I didn't even touch the funny things my friends and I did together.
5 years ago: About to go back to school to finish my RN. I had taken a year off to stay home with AJ after he was born, and I was NOT excited to be going back to school. I am glad I did because I don't know what we'd have done if I hadn't, but I seriously had to force myself to finish.
3 years ago: Let's see. That would have been the summer AJ got his hearing aids. I can't say for sure, but I was probably battling the school district about putting him into preschool and battling AJ about wearing his hearing aids and not taking them off in random places. It was really hard to trust a 2.5 year old with thousands of dollars on his ears!
1 year ago: I had just returned from my little sister, Andrea's wedding in Utah. It was a lot of fun to see the whole family! It was especially cool to have everyone except Ben (too young) inside the temple together for that experience.
1 month ago: I was stressing out about working too much and having to work nights on top of it and how I was going to deal with everything. And I contracted the cough that I've had ever since.
1 week ago: I was fast asleep in my bed while my kids were at the fair with their cousins. I worked the night before; I'm not just lazy.
1 day ago: I was at a stupid training for work that was only supposed to last 4-5 hours and took 7 instead. Grrr..
I'm not tagging anyone specific. Post if you want to!

Baby pictures!
So if you haven't heard the official news: Joe and I are expecting a third. He/she is due February 7th. I went to the doctor on Monday. Baby is fine so far. She (my doctor) gave me some medication for the nausea, so I have high hopes that I can stop losing weight and maybe start gaining some instead like you're supposed to when you're pregnant. I like my doctor so far. She told me that I can page her directly if I ever want anything (i.e. if I get dehydrated enough to warrant an IV bolus).
Here's baby looking at the camera.
And here is baby's nice intact spinal cord. I was having a contraction (very normal) at the time, so he/she looks pretty squished in there.
